FreeBSD で音がでなかったのは mixer の値が悪かったから ― 2019年08月16日 10時28分46秒

最近、音が小さくて悩んでいた。FreeBSD のセキュリティーの更新を行った副作用かと思ったがそうでは無かったようだ。

mixer には、vol がある。大体はそこの調整で大丈夫なのだが、pcm の値が低くても音が出ない様だ。 

% mixer
Mixer vol      is currently set to  75:75
Mixer pcm      is currently set to  50:50
Mixer speaker  is currently set to 100:100
Mixer mic      is currently set to  56:56
Mixer mix      is currently set to  74:74
Mixer rec      is currently set to  35:35
Mixer igain    is currently set to   0:0
Mixer ogain    is currently set to 100:100
Mixer monitor  is currently set to  56:56
Recording source: monitor

mixer に数字だけ渡すと、vol が変わる。 

% mixer  60
Setting the mixer vol from 75:75 to 60:60.
各種対象を選ぶと他の値も変えることが出来る。 
% mixer vol 80 pcm 70
Setting the mixer vol from 75:75 to 80:80.
Setting the mixer pcm from 50:50 to 70:70.
