すっかり忘れいた、HEAD が存在したのを。
Usage: cvs update [-APCdflRp] [-k kopt] [-r rev] [-D date] [-j rev]
[-I ign] [-W spec] [files...]
-A Reset any sticky tags/date/kopts.
-P Prune empty directories.
-C Overwrite locally modified files with clean repository copies.
などと、-A にてメインブランチに戻る。そして、HEAD ブランチが暗黙のブランチになっている。cvs stat -v や man cvs などをしても、一切記述も表示は無い。
完全に忘れていたためにメインブランチから他の枝へのマージは、どうすればいいのかを時折、不思議に思っていた。これを使えばできる。
